Q&A Section for Art of Dance Academy Winter Photo Sessions

We will be updating this section if we feel there are questions that you might need answered about your child's photos or ordering. We want this year's ordering to be as easy as possible!

Q: When will we be able to view the proofs?
A: Proofs will be available on December 6, 2006. You will receive an email when the proofs are online for viewing and pose selection. That email will contain the event ID needed to view your child's photos by class.

Q: How quickly can I get my print order? Will it be here by Christmas?
A: Print Selections made must be made by December 11th in order to receive the prints in the mail by Christmas (Saturday 12/23/06). *Those that chose to pre-pay for their photos at the time of their photo session (Nov 15-18) will receive priority processing when their pose selections are received online.

AGAIN, WE HAVE SET ASIDE THE FIRST 5 DAYS AFTER YOUR PROOFS ARE ONLINE FOR CHRISTMAS RUSH PROCESSING! Orders received by midnight December 11th will be processed as a RUSH for Christmas delivery at no additional RUSH charge to you.

Orders received after December 11th are not guaranteed for Christmas delivery. Standard processing time applies to all orders received after December 6th. Please allow 6-8 weeks for photo processing and delivery after your order is received online.

Q. I placed my order already. When will I receive my photos?
A. We pull photo orders once a day and begin processing the next day. Pre-paid orders receive priority processing and then we move directly to the next order received. Orders placed with payment by check will not be mailed out until the check is received and processed. Orders typically take 4-6 weeks to process, print and get to you. Orders placed by December 6th WILL be processed as a Christmas order as explained above.

Q. I pre-paid but forget what I pre-paid. Can you help?
A. That is easy- just email us and we will let you know what you pre-paid!

Q. I pre-paid but I love all my child's photos and now I want to order additional poses. Can I add to my order?
A. We are so glad you liked more than one pose! You can certainly order additional prints. Please send in your order for your prepaid package first. Then you can go back and order the additional prints in another order. If you pre-paid for a package and want to add the 5x7 pose to that package you may order that 5x7 in your re-order without having to order another package. Please note that this is an additional order in the comments section at check-out.

Q: Can you zoom into the photo- there seems to be a lot of space around my dancer.
A: Prior to printing your order your photo will probably be zoomed in slightly. Proofs are left "un-zoomed" because each print size (8x10, 5x7) has a different proportion when cropped. We have also found that some frames take up more of the photo and, when possible, we don't want to crop so close that an outstretched hand is cut off by your frame.
